Researchers Theme Outline

The aim of this project is to study programming languages and environments for the rapid development of data-oriented applications, including social software and human computation applications, where both people and computers are expected to work in appropriate ways. The approach is to model people as "rational information sources" that make moves in games and to incorporate them explicitly into program codes. The challenge is to establish fundamental and non ad-hoc technologies for programming applications where both people and computers are considered as first-class components of systems.
